the direction I get with almost every voiceover script I receive. And in the ones that don’t call it out explicitly, it’s understood.
Here’s
a voiceover secret: Sounding conversational is much easier to do with some scripts than others. Some scripts are just not written to be spoken – these are scripts full of legalese, words that we
don’t commonly use and corporate-speak.

how do you make those scripts sound more conversational?
